Integration is everybody's business!

Aboutus

Your success is our mission!

Since our foundation in 2007, we have been committed to teach the German language, giving people  with different national, educational and cultural backgrounds and variying ages, the opportunity to be integrated in Germany and develop their communication skills for daily life situations.

Our aim is to provide solutions to the communicative-linguistic and integrative-social problems of our immigrant students. The successful integration is very closely related to language education. Thus, we are happy to take the responsibility of getting immigrants and refugees to develop their linguistic and communicative skills through the interaction in German language through exercising conversations between students and teachers, as well as among the students, in which both active participation and learning process become cardinal in the classroom.

In addition, we individually nurture their key competences such as motivation, learning and their eagerness to perform both in the target language and in their future work-lifes in general.

We guide the ones, who are interested to recognize and use their opportunities in all phases of their lives, to the best of our knowledge. We as a qualified and committed "Diyalog-Team" ensure a trustful learning and working atmosphere and always have a friendly ear ready for all concerns of our customers. Their motivation and satisfaction are very important to us. Altogether, it is one of the biggest goals for us to accompany and care for our customers, thereby paving for them the way of their professional and private future lives.

As the "Diyalog Language School", we have a strong customer-oriented mission statement. We provide a wide range of offers, such as general and special integration courses including literacy, exam preparation and more. We take the flexible working hours and particular situations of our customers into account. Our time schedule provides the opportunity of various courses in different times of the day e.g in the morning, afternoon and evening, facilitating the compatibility of family and work life.  Moreover, we attach great importance to fulfilling the principles of equal rights, equal opportunities and the freedom of belief and expression to a high degree.

The new immigration law, which has come into force since 1st January 2005, is designed to facilitate the integration of immigrants eligible for residence in Germany, into the economic, cultural and social life of Germany. Immigrants now have the opportunity to attend integration courses specially tailored to their needs.

Most of these measures are sponsored by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees. As soon as the participants complete the integration course, an education voucher for further training courses can also be claimed. The course lasts 600 hours (with specialization up to 900 hours) and can be extended by 300 hours if level B1 is not reached at the end of the course. After completing the integration course and successfully passing the German Test for Immigrants-Deutschtest für Zuwanderer (DTZ), the participants can also attend the following orientation course, which is completed with the LID test (ger. Leben in Deutschland meaning Life in Germany). Topics of everyday life in Germany are discussed, such as leisure time, child-rearing, work, health, education, travel and more, whereby emphasis is always placed on improving linguistic competence. Among other things, the teaching objective is to write documents such as letters, application letters, e-mails and filling out official forms in German with its proper formal structure. The compulsory placement test ensures that each participant is supported according to their previous language level. During the course, the learning progress of the individual course participants is regularly reviewed in the form of intermediate tests. At the end of the course, the final test takes place, which is a cross-section of all course content and can be repeated once for free, when failed. The final certificate is issued by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees after passing the LID test, which certifies that the graduate knows German values, has basic knowledge of German civil and criminal law, German history and culture and understands elementary economic relationships. The LID certificate is also a prerequisite for obtaining German citizenship.

Preparatory Course of German Language Examination for University Entrance (DSH)

The DSH (German abbreviation for Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang) is a language proficiency test in order to be able to enroll in a German university and to attend German-medium courses.

The aim of the course is to prepare prospective students for the DSH exam, as well as a subsequent study. It is highly recommended to take the German language exam only after a positive completion of the course.

In order to participate in the course, a selection procedure must be completed at the admissions office which also includes a language placement test. If the result is positive, the participant will then be assigned a course place. The successful completion of the German language examination (DSH) entitles you to study at a German university.
